tear down began about a month ago i just couldnt wait to see it! its a good thing too.... since then we've had a few issues...
the previous owner had re wired a number of things incorrectly... to anyone attempting their own electrical Please please PLEASE at the very least consult a professional (that doesnt mean the guy working electrical at a big box store) or better yet Hire one!
for whatever reason he had live wires cut off just hanging in the attic (fire hazard) and almost the entire basement running off the entrance light thru a light switch box in the livingroom which previosly had one switch that didnt work...now we know why:-D
other then that... our roof is a howe truss system which allowed us to remove the walls on this level no problem... however the ceiling? yeah that was being held up by the walls! anyone that attempted this type of renovation with a truss roof knows what i mean what a nightmare.... but were slowly getting it level again!
